Do I need biometric hardware?

No. ClockTap is browser-based. Employees clock in with a PIN on any tablet, phone, or shared browser.

Does the kiosk work offline?

The kiosk handles short network drops and syncs once the connection is restored. For long outages we recommend a backup paper log so you can reconcile after the fact.

What devices are supported?

Any modern browser (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge) on a tablet, phone, laptop, or desktop. Installing ClockTap as a PWA gives the kiosk a full-screen, app-like experience.

Is there a free plan?

Yes. The Starter plan is free, no credit card required. See Pricing on the landing page for current limits.

How is data stored?

Attendance records are stored in a managed Postgres database (Neon). You can export your data as CSV at any time from the Reports screen.

How do I contact support?
