Common questions.

A bundy clock stamps the time an employee arrives and leaves. An online one records that in a browser instead of on a card, then adds the hours up per shift and exports the DTR at cutoff. Nobody retypes a card into a spreadsheet.

No. A fingerprint reader proves who punched. ClockTap proves where the punch came from: the employee PIN plus a lock on the shop Wi-Fi or a radius around the address. If staff punching for each other is your main worry and you cannot control the network, a fingerprint terminal is stricter.

It exports a timesheet with the DTR columns: date, time in, time out, approved hours, late and undertime, overtime, and a status per day. Standard Excel gives one sheet per employee. The accountant preset gives one row per employee for the period. CSV works with any other tool.

The kiosk cannot record a punch without a connection. There is no offline mode yet. The usual fallback is a phone hotspot on the kiosk device, and a supervisor can file a correction for any missed punch.
